Day 1: I am willing to see my magnificence.
I admit, I often walk around with a sense of “false-humility” which causes me to downplay my own “sanctity, gifts, talents, and accomplishments.” For a long time, I thought “true humility” meant downplaying who you were for the greater good. However, this is not what “true humility” means. “True humility” allows you to see and appreciate your own MAGNIFICENCE, while realizing your limitations and flaws. It allows you to recognize and exalt the virtues and talents that others possess as well as be obedient to those whose talents and abilities surpass your own.
Today’s affirmation is one that I need to internalize on a daily basis. Today, I am going to not only see, but honor my brilliance, gloriousness, gorgeousness, grandness, majesty, and splendiferousness (LOL I couldn’t resist including this when I saw it as a synonym for magnificence). I affirm GRANDNESS in the following areas of my life: my academics, my (future) profession, my health, my relationships, and my finances. I am aware of the areas that are not at the level of SPLENDIFEROUSNESS that I desire, but I will not let those areas create in me a sense of false humility which would cause me to downplay my greater MAGNIFICENCE!

Thank you splendiferous Crystal for this post! I love Louise Hay! I’m reading one of her books right now!
Thanks Dr. Parker! I just happened upon her through another friend’s posting!
